This good looking daughter of Per Incanto affectionately known as Teddy is already broken in and will be back in work late August with one of NZ’s leading trainers Murray Baker and Andrew Forsman.

Per Incanto is NZ Champion Second season sire and had Gr 1 winner Dal Cielo as well as Gr winners Saracino, Rocanto and Tennessee.

Her Dam produced a Listed place getter from her first foal and is a half sister to PROWL, winner of the Gr 1 Golden Slipper; one of Australia’s most prestigious races.

Full-sister to two-year-old stakes winner and multiple Group 1 placed PRINCE MAMBO

 We are very pleased to offer shares in the two-year-old full-sister to stakes winner and twice Group 1 placed PRINCE MAMBO.  She is athletic, has a great shoulder and leg and is very striking. She has an excellent pedigree with her dam GRACE PARK a stakes winner and a half-sister to the Stakes Placed Galaxy Star. GRACE PARK has had three foals to race, all winners – PRINCE MAMBO, TEQUILA SUNRISE who has won four races, and the exciting LADY GUINNESS, who has won two races and been placed from just six starts. 

She should be versatile – her siblings have won from 1000 to 2100 metres. We see her very much in the mould of Prince Mambo – she is certainly strong enough to make a two-year-old and, like him, we believe she will love a mile. She will have residual value as a broodmare at the end of her career and, should she gain black-type, will become very valuable. 

She has vetted up perfectly and is great value for a full-sister to a Group One performer.

This athletic filly has been in work for four months and John recently said this about her “I’m quite taken by this filly’s athleticism and attitude. She’s not fazed by anything o’ve thrown at her and as you can see in the photo above, she’s developing into herself really well”. 

She is a half sister to promising two year old MOFARA and comes from the immediate family of Soliloquy and Solveig.

SOLILOQUY won the Group 1 Lion Brown Sprint and Lowland Stakes amongst others and was 2nd in the Group 1 Railway Hcp. Daughter SOLVEIG eclipsed her by winning 4 Group 1’s including The New Zealand Oaks, Air New Zealand Stakes, Captain Cook Stakes and the Avondale Cup.

FERLAX was by champion sire PENTIRE (48 stakes winners….16 at Group 1 level). FERLAX won the Group 1 Australian Guineas which is viewed as a stallion making race, won previously by the likes of ZABEEL, PINS and FLYING SPUR. Ferlax’s damsire is champion Australian sprinter MARSCAY and his name still dominates Australasian pedigrees.

We think this filly’s pedigree offers a strong blend of speed and stamina from a proven family of Group 1 winners.

This lovely Filly is from the first crop of the  champion NZ bred galloper, DUNDEEL, who took Sydney racing by storm for two successive Autumns, winning the Group 1 ATC Derby as a 3yo and the Group 1 Queen Elizabeth Stakes as a 4yo. This filly is out of a Redoutes Choice mare, her pedigree page is very, very strong and she presents as a very athletic, physically correct type who has the scope to develop into a lovely 3yo type, we have marked her down as an “Oaks type” filly.

This Filly is eligible to race in the NZ$1m Karaka Million 2yo event to be run at Ellerslie on the last Sunday in January 2018 and the NZ$1m Karaka Classic 3yo event in January 2019
